We realize that for education to be successful, other factors need to be in place for the process to work to its greatest potential. That is why we have what we believe is unlike any other online educational system.
Topics like Math, Reading, History and science are very important, but there are other subjects that should be taught as well. These extra-curricular course have often been abandoned by traditional schools. We believe these courses should be emphasized, as students today are not getting what the need to succeed. Our courses stand out and will make such a huge difference in your student’s success potential. Courses such as:

- Boundary setting
- Grieving (The process and hold to manage grieving)
- Understanding Adoption (if applicable)
- Conflict resolution
- Job interview Preparation
- Biblical history and studies(how the Bible applies to today’s living)

These are just some of the courses not taught by conventional schools, but that will excel your student to a higher level of learning and coping skills with today’s challenges.

History of RVCA
Established in 1993, River View Christian Academy is a private Christian residential school located 40 minutes east of Austin, TX. Our school is designed for our students to be in a safe, structured environment in order to give them the best opportunity to focus on their education without distraction.
We restore teens to a healthy outlook on life through loving redirection, teaching life skills and building character through integrity, boundaries, and self control.
RVCA Online is based on the same structure and curriculum that is used in our residential boarding school. Our online school provides a way to remove students from the environment that was causing them to struggle and allow them to focus on their education at home without distraction. RVCA Online also allows students to work at their own pace and around their own schedule, giving them the opportunity to catch up or even get ahead.
